The Country Director of ActionAid Nigeria, Hussaini Abdu, noted that the conclusions of the poll are “too simplistic, as it did not consider the multi-dimensional approach to the definition of poverty. ” “The conclusions of the poll trivialized the true situation of poverty in the country and reduced it to responses from very few Nigerians with certain levels of privileges,” the group said. “The methodology of the poll is flawed and the report is misleading, especially to policy makers.

Abdu further said, “The NOI report questions the method of applying Purchasing Power Parity, rather than calculate directly using the USD/Naira exchange rate when in fact this internationally applied method is tailored per country using Consumer Price Indices (CPIs) and gives greater accuracy and local grounding to the $1. 25 per day measurement per country. “The NOI Polls’ conclusion is not internally coherent.

NASA is researching to invent the world first 3D Printer that prints food. NASA Has hired Mechanical engineer Anjan, which he received $125,000 to fund this research, the main purpose of this project is to provide astronaut food during space travels around the orbits, another purpose is to solve the problem about increasing food shortages around the world.

The main concept of the printer is to use printer cartridges that contains food in powdered form, each cartridge would have a lifespan of 30 years. the first prototype of the printer successfully printed chocolate, but the inventor would be taking the project to the next level by printing pizza with the printer.

How does the printer works?

the printer will print a layer of dough, that will be baked during the printing process, than tomato mixture is made from the tomato powder which was from the cartridges mix with water and oil to make the tomato mixture as base to the pizza. The topping of the pizza would be a nondescript “protein layer”.

Do you think it would be economic sustainable to use these printers ?

Governor Akpabio Wins Best Governor Award in Ghana

The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Akpabio, has been given the award of best governor in African From an Accra-Based Magazine, for his transformation in his serving state. 

The award was presented to him by, Ghanian professor Walter Alhassan, he further describe the governor as a true leader of democracy and sets out good example of what democracy should represent about. 

Soma Brown spoke on behalf of the organisers, which he recounted numerous achievements of the governor such as free medical care, massive infrastructural investments, free education in the state.  

Governor Godswill Akpabio, didn’t attented the cermory, he was represented by his Commisioner for Information and Communication, Mr Aniekan Imanah.

Do you think Governor Akpabio truly deserve this awards?

Whereas Fashola has not been given such award, despite his massive transformation in Lagos State.
